Burnt dog is treated with honey - BBC - 16 Sep 2009
A dog which was rescued from a house fire is being treated with medical grade manuka honey pads to help heal the wounds. The vet looking after treatment has been very impressed with the progress from using the honey.

Manuka honey pilgrim meets his benefactors - NZ Herald - 15 Apr 2009
An American man who had a rare infection resulting in an open sore over much of his leg, was saved from possible amputation by using special Medihoney dressings soaked in medical grade manuka honey. He visited the makers of the honey dressings - Comvita - while on a cruise ship visit to New Zealand.
